Dreadlock Extensions became a craze back in the early 2000s and I was so fortunate to be among one of the first on the east coast to offer such a service. Many of my clients did not want to wait years to achieve what they wanted to see in the mirror today. My job was to make that happen. Their smiles made the world a difference and allowed me to know that I was on to something with this service. I instantly saw the spiritual connection with the service and the clients. Many clients were in my chair for 5+ hours and therefore those hours would be filled with listening to Erykah Badu and other neo soul music with incense burning in the background and great enlightening conversation.
It became a healing session rather than hair appointment.

Faux Dreadlock Extensions are beautiful when created correctly. I would offer this service to those individuals that had no issues with being allergic to synthetic hair. I used Marley hair to achieve this look and learned overtime that this particular style could be kept up with proper maintenance and care applied. Proper maintainance and upkeep for this service is also trained during the class for those that are interested in offering this service.

Goddess Dreadlock Extensions are my creation and I was very thankful to run a business for 15 years offering a product that I created. There were many other loctician offering dreadlock extensions but this was my creation and my contribution to the style. This style looked very natural as the combination of both the human hair and the synthetic hair allowed for the locs to warn a almost worn and crinkled look to them in which my clients loved as many didn’t want “brand new” looking dreadlocks.
Dreadlock Maintenance and Dreadlock Repair Services
My clientele consisted of those that were interested in either Human Hair Dreadlock Extensions, Faux Dreadlock Extensions or those that preferred the crinkled mixed look of the Goddess Dreadlock Extensions.All clients were serviced on a every 6 week basis although some did prefer to come to me earlier at every 4 weeks. Dreadlock repair service is also a service that I offered to many that suffered from breakage based on different circumstances. I will also offer Dreadlock Repair Service classes in the very near future.
The best feeling ever is when you finish’s someone’s hair and they look in the mirror for the first time. You know immediately that you have just changed that individual.
